Wee Learn & Abeka

Our curriculum is developed around themes that help children to learn about God’s word and how to live with one another. Themes are designed to help lay a foundation for understanding God, Jesus, the Bible, church, self, family, others and the world around us. Activities in each unit help children develop language, reading, writing and math skills appropriate to his or her stage of development.

Wee Learn and/or Abeka are developmentally appropriate curriculum used in every classroom from our infants to our VPK Fours. Wee Learn and Abeka are approved by the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, Inc. and Pre-K 4 classes use the Florida Standards of Achievement for Kindergarten. We introduce phonemic awareness in our Pre-K 3 and 4 year old classes. We also use the Florida Sunshine guidelines for Kindergarten, as well as Broward County guidelines.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free program offered by the State of Florida. Enrollment begins in January and space may become limited. For more information visit: FloridaEarlyLearning.com.

Play In Our Curriculum

Play makes a difference. Play is an enjoyable, fun activity that elevates our mood and brightens our outlook on life. Play relieves feelings of stress and boredom and, most importantly, helps children express themselves. Through play, children learn to address and resolve their own problems. Play builds on the natural way that children learn about themselves and their relationships in the world around them. Because of its many benefits, we incorporate a lot of play into our curriculum! We believe that by following a Biblical curriculum that teaches critical thinking skills and lays the foundation for the Christian life, along with play, we better equip our students for success. You can learn more about the benefits of play, tips for teaching your child and other helpful tips on our Parents Corner page!
